Summary
Responsible for transporting and transferring patients to and from specific areas in a safe and professional manner. Provides and maintains a safe, efficient and therapeutic environment for patients. Provides assistance, as needed, to patients and area staff.
Qualifications
Education
High School diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience
One year of experience in transportation of people is preferred. Must be able to lift and assist in transferring patients as needed.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Valid Driver’s License is required.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required, in-house training offered
