Summary

CNA School Details:

  • The class will take place on Day Shift (Monday through Friday) 7AM-3:30 PM
  • 3 weeks long
  • Class to start June10th, 2024
  • Paid internship
  • Cost of class and certification test will be covered by HSHS
  • Attendance everyday is mandatory
  • After completion of the program, along with passing certification tests, and meeting HSHS’s onboarding requirements - will be employed as a Patient Care Assistant within HSHS Division
  • Application deadline May 1st, 2024

Provides practical work experience for clinical students in an environment that emphasizes patient-centered care. Provides a mechanism for exposing clinical interns to innovative/emerging concepts in healthcare practice. Provides mentoring opportunities for staff to facilitate development of teaching and preceptor skills and provides a challenging/stimulating work environment for staff.

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

1-2 years of healthcare experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30-days of employment.

Must be actively working toward certification/licensure in field of practice.
