Hospital Sisters Health System is searching for a System Manager of Digital Marketing. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about building digital access and functionality for health care consumers and patients in partnership with our integrated Marketing and Communications team. This role holds responsibility for development of websites, especially in relation on user experience, design, navigation and ease of engagement. You will help HSHS increase patient acquisition and retention, promote compelling content and showcase our providers. An understanding of Epic patient engagement and communication through MyChart is critical, as well as comfort partnering IT colleagues to ensure we have the right tools and technologies to advance our digital footprint. This opportunity offers flexibility with a hybrid role offering work from home options while being within driving distance of the HSHS System Office in Springfield, IL to come in as needed. This role reports directly to the System Director of Digital Strategy. The ideal candidate is a seasoned digital marketing professional with strong knowledge in the technical side of the digital marketing as well as previous leadership experience. This leader would be comfortable in a matrix environment to collaborate with other leaders within the system, especially with IT colleagues and technology vendors colleagues. The ideal candidate also has a strong passion for growing a team as well as leading projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming, Communication, Web Development, or a related field is required.• Associates degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming, Communication, Web Development, or a related field is required plus 3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, PR agency and/or in-house experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.• 5 years of experience in interactive/social media site development, content curation, measurement, strategy, and placement is required.• 3 years of progressively responsible leadership experience is required.• Experience with content developer and programmer software (HTML & Web Services Application and Interface Developer) is required.• Experience in healthcare is strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming, Communication, Web Development, or a related field is required.

Associates degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming, Communication, Web Development, or a related field is required plus 3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, PR agency and/or in-house experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

Experience

5 years of experience in interactive/social media site development, content curation, measurement, strategy, and placement is required.

3 years of progressively responsible leadership experience is required.

Experience with content developer and programmer software (HTML & Web Services Application and Interface Developer) is required.

Experience in healthcare is strongly preferred.
