Summary
Monitors, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on the components of the central utilities plant, including but not limited to, steam/heating/domestic hot water boilers; generators; heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment; and incinerator (as applicable). Assists with work on other building systems and components. Assists the affiliate's with compliance of the environment of care management plans
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma, GED or related vocational training is required
Experience
Two years facilities maintenance is required
Three years stationary engineer experience preferred
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Valid state driver’s license and must be insurable to operate hospital vehicles is required
Power Plant Operating Engineer – Second Class License is preferred
HVAC Certification is preferred.
