Cardiac Cath Technologist assists cardiologists with various cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures to aid in the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Education

Associates-Radiologic Technology-Required

Experience

No Experience Required

Must be able to function under stress, be knowledgeable of sterile techniques, and have the ability to learn the mathematical calculations relative to the catheterization procedure; Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of anatomy and physiology and cardiovascular concepts.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed in the state of practice-Required

Registered Radiologic Technologist.-Required

Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
