Summary
- Training will be on-site in Springfield, after that daily work can be completed at home but ocassional on-site required
Demonstrate knowledge of computerized processes regarding accuracy of documents, maintain confidentiality of patient information, demonstrates knowledge of state and federal regulations which are pertinent to the medical information of the patient chart.
Qualifications
Education
Associate’s degree in health information technology or a related field is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Experience
2 years of health information management (HIM) experience or related field is preferred
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) is preferred.
